Open Letter to The Governor Sindh, Mr.Mohammad Zubair

Sub: Chandi Technology and Rozgar La Mehdood

To,

The Governor Sindh, Mr.Mohammad Zubair

Dear Sir,

May the peace of the Almighty be upon you!

Since the last several months, there has been a steady stream of publicity about the Chandi Technology (an innovation of Gul Bahao) in the European media especially Hungary, Britain, Germany, Holland, Italy, France, Greece etc. CNN, Voice of America and Aljazeera have given it substantial coverage. What is more, our website is being continuously studied all over the world.

The Chandi Technology is a research product whose development and extension have taken 23 long years, on which millions of rupees of the wealthy and educated people of Karachi has been spent. This, by the grace of the Almighty, will be as big a change maker as the mobile telephone.

What is the Chandi Technology?. Briefly, they are Modular blocks and Panels whose raw material is Metalized film (a by product of plastic Manufacturing industries) and Thermopole waste, rendering it the most modern form of construction material used hitherto.

At the same time, the techniques employed in the Chandi Technology may be used for any and every kind of plastic waste, making it very useful for municipal waste management as well. The Chandi blocks however are absolutely clean and may be used in high quality prefabricated construction. Being prefabricated, modular and portable, the Chandi blocks may be used as:

Mobile factories, Mobile residential colonies, Mobile offices, Mobile schools – all of them being solid structures. Thanks to the insulated nature of the metalized film (the raw material used in the building blocks), the entire structure becomes cool in summer and warm in winter. Due to the sheer strength of the columns, a single room is easily extendable four times. The cost of manufacture and installation is unbelievably low because of the abundant availability of the raw material and interchangeable nature. A two storied Chandi Ghar can easily be converted into a water reservoir, a comfortable bed, sofa etc, in no time and vice versa. Similarly the roof panels may easily be converted into light weight tables and chairs.

So far more than 150 structures using this technology have been put up all over Pakistan in the following areas:

  • In Disaster Affected areas such as Mansehra, Muzaffargarh, Thatta, Awaran, Mithi etc.
  • Several times at Expo Centre and as Entertainment Hall and Lecture Hall.
  • A Reception Hall which acts as a Rest House for patients attendants. This is being used by scores of people on a daily basis in Civil Hospital Mithi for the last three years.
  • A Ware House for Frontier Works Organization on the Super Highway housing chemical drums.
  • Given the immense economic potential of the Chandi Technology, it would be but natural to use it for raising the employment level to the extent of Reviving the Economy.

Here, let us recall that the west has not developed because of its natural resources but because of its inventions like the Steam Engine, Antibiotics, Electricity etc, despite having basic resources like abundant sunlight.

Now, it is imperative that the government of Pakistan recognizes the immense importance of this technology which can help to revolutionize the economy as well as raise its image at the international level.

I am,

Yours Sincerely,

Nargis Latif (CEO Chandi Technology)

Chandi Technology set to change the world

Chandi Ghar Letter head

It could be called a mini exhibition in a mega event. The showcasing of the Chandi Technology at the science exhibition held at the Dawood Public School. The venue was just the right one to display a new invention!. There were life size murals describing the lives and works of well known inventors. The mobile message from Gul Bahao, the parent organization of Chandi Technology ran “Chandi Technology – Karachi’s Gift to the world!, all set to change the world”. Truly the Chandi technology has caught the imagination of people living in different parts of the world. New York, Holland, Delhi, South Korea, Italy, France, parts of the Middle East etc, thanks to CNN, Voice of America, Al Jazeera etc. Pakistans social media is also chatting about this innovation.

As one entered the school premises, one had to go through a make believe tunnel. Immediately after in the brilliant sunshine, amidst picturesque surroundings stood the Chandi Ghar with a water reservoir right in front. The Chandi Ghar as the name suggests was doing full justice to its name. Its sheer beauty was attracting thousands of people on a daily basis. The school records showed that in the last 3 days more than 50,000 (fifty thousand) youngsters attended the exhibition. This excluded the parents and teachers who attended it.

Many of the visitors who came to the Chandi Ghar came with the preconceived notion that the Chandi Ghar being an offshoot of the Gul Bahao waste managment program must be made up of garbage. People young and old kept congratulating the CEO of Gul Bahao trying ways of recycling the city’s garbage. On the other hand, the staff of Gul Bahao was at great pains to explain to the people that in fact a new technology, first time in the world has come up during the last 12 years or so. They kept insisting that the raw material used in the Chandi Technolgy is so clean that it can be used in places of worship. That it is metalized film which though they are factory leftovers is sterile material which can be called virgin material.

Gul Bahao’s spokesman Mohammad Hannan explained to the groups of visitors that kept coming in that the longevity of the Chandi Ghar can be gauged from the fact some of the structures put up in various parts of Pakistan are there since the last several years. One such Chandi Ghar at Ibrahim Haideri has been there since the last 10 years, according to him. What is more, these structures have proved themselves against heavy storms in several places.

Pointing to the photographic mounts displayed on the tables (even these were made up of the Chandi Technology) Mohammad Hannan claimed that 150 structures using this technology have been put up all over Pakistan. These include a marriage hall, lecture hall, single rooms, ware house, water reservoir, rest house etc.

Here it may be added that only a short while ago, during the 3 weeks leading upto the Eidul Azha , a Chandi Hall was put up for exhibition at the Cattle Mandi on Superhighway. Throughout that time the Chandi Hall exuded a gold like effect during the night, while its silver effect shimmered in the day time, captivating the imagination of thousands of people thronging the streets of the Mandi.

BANNER FOR ROZGAR LA MEHDOOD

Dear Friends,

May the peace of the Almighty be upon you!. This is to seek your attention to the novel discovery of the Chandi Technology which has the key to a prosperous Pakistan. What is more we have slowly but surely started getting both national and international Media Coverage. Newspapers of France, Italy, Holland, South Korea and India have given us very positive coverage while T.V channels CNN, Voice of America, Al Jazeera and several lesser known channels have been covering us for years.

This is apart from Pakistani channels, which have given us abundant coverage. We now intend to run a 3-week long campaign called Rozgar La Mehdood in the Gai (Cow) Mandi located on main superhighway from the 21st of August right upto Eidul Azha. We have been allotted prominent space 15ft x 30ft area in the VIP area block 1, front row facing the super highway. Here, an attractive looking Chandi Hall. i.e a prefabricated structure will be put up complete with the latest innovations of the Chandi technology. In this campaign opportunities will be offered to our youth and entrepreneurs. New and profitable ways of making money with the least investment using the Chandi technology.

A second and vital aspect of the display would be to provide “shelter for the shelter less”. Another part of the campaign meant to provide subsidized housing for the poorest of the poor. One way would be to explain to the poor how they can make cheap plastic houses them selves. Second would be to motivate people to donate for the cause. The occasion provides ample opportunity for extensive publicity of your products as well as for your CSR activity. The Cow Mandi you must be aware is the biggest one of its kind in the world which gets massive publicity on a daily basis. We would like you to sponsor the 3 week event at the following rates: a) Banner inside the hall 3ft x 6ft – Rs.5o,ooo. b) Banner on the exterior wall 3ft x 6ft. Rs.1,00,000. c) Banner on the side facing the superhighway 3ft x 6ft. Rs.1,75,000.

Yours Sincerely,

Nargis Latif (CEO – Gul Bahao)
