کل بروز ہفتہ چودھا جنوری ساڑھے تین بجے ایک اجتماع گل بہاؤ ادارے کی طرف سےکراچی آرٹس کونسل میں منعقد کیا جا رہا ہے جو مندرجہ ذیل موضوعات پر مشتمل ہوگا:
قرآن شریف کو ترجمے سے پڑھنا۔اس مہم کے تحت گزشتہ کئی سالوں سے جنوبی سندھ میں بڑی تعداد میں قرآنی آیات کے تراجم غریب لوگوں کے ہاتھوں فروخت کیے جارہے ہیں ۔
یاد رہے کہ لوگوں کی قرآن پاک سے بے رغبتی کی وجہ ان کا عربی سے ناواقف ہونا ہے۔یقینن ان ترجموں کے تقسیم کرنے سے اس عظیم کتاب سے لوگوں میں دلچسپی بڑھی ہے۔

“صفائی نصف ایمان ہے”اسے حاصل کرنے کے لیے ہمیں جدید انداز اپنانا ہوگا۔مزید یہ کہ علیحدہ کیا ہوا سوکھے کچرے کو خیرات یا صدقہ سمجھا جائے ۔اب محض جھاڑو پھیر نے سے بات نہیں بنے گی۔کیوں کہ اس طرح گدھا گھوڑا دونوں گڈ مڈ ہو جاتے ہیں۔یعنی سوکھا اور گھیلا کچرا علیحدہ علیحدہ کرنا چاہیے کیونکہ انکے جدا جدا استعمال ہیں۔

گھیلا کچرا یعنی سبزی کے چھلکوں وغیرہ کو زمین دوز کر کے کھاد کا کام لیا جاۓ یا جانورں کا چارا کیا جائے۔

اب آئیے سوکھے کچرے کی طرف جس کی مالیت قروروں۔ میں ہے۔لوگوں کو چاہیے کہ اپنے ہفتے بھر کا سوکھا کچرا جمع کریں ۔اور جمعے کے روز اسے بطور خیرات ان غریبوں میں بانٹ لیں : صفائی کا عملہ،ڑیری والا کباریہ،کچڑا چننے والے۔اس طرح سے یہ لوگ گندگی اور بیماریوں سے محفوظ رہیں گے۔

سوکھے کچرے میں عام طور پر پلاسٹک یعنی پنی،شاپر وغیرہ پائے جاتے ہیں ۔جن سے تعمیراتی بلاک بناۓ جاسکتے ہیں ۔اس سے ایک نئے طرزِ تعمیر کا آغاز کیا جاسکتا ہے ۔ساتھ ہی ساتھ پلاسٹک کے فضلہ کی بڑی مقدار کو تلف کرنےمیں مدد ملے گی۔
گل بہاؤ ادارہ گزشتہ کئی سالوں سے اس کام میں لگا ہوا ہے ۔پاکستان کے مختلف علاقوں میں گل بہاؤ ادارے نے اپنی چاندی ٹیکنالوجی کے ذریعے 100 کے قریب عمارتیں تعمیر کی ہیں جن کا خام مال ضائع شدہ پلاسٹک ہے۔

ہم اللہ تعالیٰ سے دعا گو ہیں کہ کل بروز ہفتہ کو ہونے والے اجتماع کو کامیاب و کامران بناۓ۔

Gul Bahao is inviting you to a meeting on Saturday 14th January at 3.30 PM at Gulrang restaurant Karachi Arts Council.The following matters will be discussed:

1) Safai main Kamai system

2) Replacing mud houses with plastic houses (Chandighar) especially for flood affectees.

3) Unsustainability of high rises and uncontrolled expansion of Karachi

4) Promotion of translations of the Holy Quran

We at Gulbahao trust bow our heads before the Almighty Allah for enabling us to put up the World’s first Community Centre made from Chandi Technology (prefab modular plastic blocks) at Tent City Hub by Pass.

An unforgettable part of the installation that took place on Monday was the wide participation of the flood affectees.Scores of people took part at different stages,their ages ranging between 15-35 years.It took only a few hours to assemble the gigantic structure.

An innovative feature this time is that of Jumbo blocks having size of 3x4ft. which go to make the pillars straightaway,so that time for construction and installation has lessened considerably.

Here it may be recalled that the Chandi Technology used in the Community Centre is unique in the whole world.No where in the world such a technology is being used.

That is why the Gulbahao trust believes that to come up with such a unique innovation (having minimum of resources) is a clear cut blessing of the Almighty Allah.It reminds one and all that such a wonderful event could never be possible without divine intervention.

(سوکھا )کچرا دو , ثواب کماؤ!

قرآن پاک میں نماز کے بعد جس بات کا سب سے زیادہ حکم ہے وہ زکات اور صدقہ ہے۔صدقے کا دائرہ بہت وسیع ہے ۔ان میں نیک نیتی سے مشورے دینا بھی شامل ہے۔

ہم یہاں صدقے کا دائرہ مختصر کرکے اس میں نقد کے علاؤہ جنس یعنی اشیاء کو بھی شامل کر رہے ہیں ۔

آج جس امر کی سخت ضرورت ہے وہ ہے کہ سوکھے اور گھیلے کچرے کو جدا جدا کیا جائے۔کروروں روپے کے مالیت کا سوکھا کچرا کچرا کونڈی کی نظر ہو جاتا ہے جس میں کچھ کو آگ لگایا جاتا ہے اور کچھ کو ندی نالوں میں پھینکا جاتا ہے ۔

تو آئیے آج سے عہد کریں کہ پورے ہفتے کا سوکھا کچرا جیسا کے کاغذ ،گتہ،پلاسٹک کی بوتلیں ،شاپر، پنی، تھرماپول وغیرہ کو جمع کرتے ہیں ۔اور پھر اس خزانے کو بطور خیرات یا صدقہ ان میں سے کسی کو دے دیتے ہیں:فلاہی ادارہ،کباری والا یا صفائ سے منسلک عملے یا پھر کچرا چننے والوں کو دیں گے۔

یوں تو سوکھا کچرا بھی گھومتے گھامتے فیکٹریوں تک پہنچ جاتا ہے۔لیکن اسکی مقدار کم ہوتی ہے۔غلاظت میں اٹے ہوئے ہونے کی وجہ سے کم قیمتوں پر بکتا ہے ،نیز یہ کہ جو چننے والے ہیں ان کے لئے بیماری کا باعث بنتا ہے۔

لہازہ سوکھے کچرے کو گھیلے کچرے سے علیحدہ کرنا ہمارا دینی فرض بن جاتا ہے۔ نیکی اور ثواب کا کام بنتا ہے۔اور اس کام کے لئے جمعہ کا دن موضوع ترین ہے،جس دن ہفتے بھر کاجمع کیا ہوا سوکھا کچرے کو ٹھکانے لگایا جاۓ۔

ایک حدیث کے مطابق “صفائی نصف ایمان ہے” تو مندرجہ بالا نصیحت سے دگنا ثواب کمائیں!

May the peace of God be upon you!

As you are aware, millions of Pakistanis have been rendered homeless because of the torrential rains and floods.Hence making a few hundred or thousand cemented houses for the homeless will not suffice.What is required is reconstruction on a massive scale.

The salient feature of these houses are :

They are waterproof, windproof.They can withstand waterlogging and salinity.They are cool in summer and warm in winter.

They are prefabricated or mobile, easy to install.Before the advent of flood from kutcha areas they may be dismantled and taken to a safer place for a short time.They can be extremely useful in Kutcha areas or the river bed.

Due to the sheer strength of the columns,the roof may be extended on all four sides to accommodate more rooms,as many as four .

The blocks are modular .A room can be converted into a water reservoir or furniture i. e table ,sofa,bed etc and vice versa.Multi storied houses can also be made from these blocks .

They are cheaper than cement blocks.When they are made on a large scale their prices will come down to less than RS.50,000/house

To produce these plastic blocks electricity is not required hence there is no question of any kind of air pollution.They can be easily manufactured in small places like homes.This will (God willing)in turn give rise to a huge cottage industry .

The goal behind putting up this plant is to present models of this unique invention in different places in order that they may be replicated everywhere.So that God willing, ultimately mud houses will be replaced by high density plastic houses in the rural areas.

In the end I appeal to all you brothers and sisters to donate whole heartedly for the love of God Almighty for the sake of those who have no roofs over their heads.
